“Then the word of the Lord came to Jonah the second time, saying, “Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and proclaim to it the message that I tell you.” So Jonah arose and went to Nineveh, according to the word of the Lord. Now Nineveh was an exceedingly great city, three days’ journey in breadth. Jonah began to go into the city, going a day’s journey. And he cried, “Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown!” And the people of Nineveh believed God; they proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them to least of them. When God saw what they did, how they turned from their evil way, God repented of the evil which he had said he would do to them; and he did not do it.”
“John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. And there went out to him all the country of Judea, and all the people of Jerusalem; and they were baptized by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins… Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent, and believe in the Gospel.”
There is a parallel, between Jonah, John the Baptist, and yourselves
Jesus said: There is a parallel, between Jonah, John the Baptist, and yourselves My children: In Jonah’s time, My Father in Heaven – God, the Eternal Father in Heaven, was simply giving an example, of what the effect – of repentance, would be, on those repenting. In that time, people were ‘awake’ – enough to recognize the voice, of a true prophet. Now, during John the Baptist’s time, people were not able to recognize, who he was, and what his mission was – to be accomplished – especially those of ‘the church authorities’. They could not understand, his role, or why he was telling the people – to repent. But just because they did not ‘understand’ everything completely, doesn’t mean he was any less of a prophet. Their ability to understand, did not diminish his role in any way, shape or form.
A prophet – nowadays… is like one ‘shouting, from the rooftops: repentance!
A prophet – nowadays My children, a true prophet, is not just like ‘one crying in the wilderness’, but is like one ‘shouting, from the rooftops: repentance! But everyone’s ears, are ‘plugged’, so that all they can hear, are the noises, sounds, and distractions all around them. And this has been ‘their response’ – to My Testimony.
Hundreds of people… were following Me – ‘out of curiosity’
Just because thousands of people wake up every day, and do not have the Testimony, in front of them - to reject or adhere to, does not make, your mission as My Two Witnesses, any less, of importance. On the contrary My children: when I travelled, in My First Coming – crowds of people would follow Me, from place, to place. But I would only go – to the one, whom I was sent to. I was not, so much interested, in the hundreds of people, who were following Me – ‘out of curiosity’, or because: they wanted ‘their bellies filled’. I had no real relationship, with those people, but they pursued Me anyway.
I know ‘who wants to be written in the Book of Life’, and ‘who wants to be forgotten’
The same goes for those who look – at My Website, and reject the words, that are given to them ‘on a silver, platter’; they crucify me, once again – by rejecting, that, which they don’t understand, but ‘know in their hearts to be true’. The Kingdom of Heaven does not require ‘understanding, with the human mind’. But the Kingdom of Heaven requires faith, and ‘blind, obedience’ – to the truths, revealed in each and every moment. They can pretend, that they never, ever, saw, My Website My children. And they can make-up ‘all sorts of excuses’, as to why they should not listen, to My words. But I know their hearts My children, and I know ‘who wants to be written in the Book of Life’, and ‘who wants to be forgotten’. For this is My Testimony, and I am Jesus Christ the Lord. |
